how to adjust timing on SBC with std distributor & elec ign?

I know it's got to be simple. But usually you turn the distributor cap. However this cap fixes in one place only with four hold down spring loaded L clips. So not sure what gets turned to adjust it.

I do remember the ZZ4 timing is at: 37 degrees BTDC at 3.5 with vac disconnect.

Reason for asking is a slight pink or misfire, not sure which, at full throttle through 4200rpm in 4th.

There will be a single bolt in a clamp plate at the base of the dizzy where it disapears into the inlet manifold. Release that and twist the whole dizzy round to where you want it.
Can't help on what the setting should be.
