At the risk of being branded the saddest "get a life" member here, just to put my mind at rest.....
Has anyone got Spider Solitaire out on the hardest setting?
If not I'll have to go and get some work done

What's this Spider Solitaire then? I'll give it a go. I play freecell quite alot. I downloaded Fcpro and it tells you if the game is soluble or not which is handy

Spider comes with ME and XP easily transfers if you have another pc with it on.
Easy and Medium are a doddle to complete (around 75% on medium) Hard is proving a Bd

It's the only game in town.......

2 suit game pretty easy, hard one impossible IMHO. (Except for nerds).

What's your best score at pinball then?

Currently running at about a 2% success rate. So yes but pretty infrequently.

I thought ALL Freecell games were do-able?
My record was 400ish games without loss (on my old PC).

Don't know what my success rate is (only have it on m/c at home, not work) but I would guess between 5 and 10%. Not that hard really - you also have to know when to give up and start a new game

After practising for about 100 games I reset the counter and now have a 100% success rate with Freecell (about 1000 games) and have yet to find one that does not come out.

I did a search on Free Cell one day, and came up with the US website where someone had written a different version which I downloaded. Much better than MS version, full undo and auto solve. When you think you might be up a blind alley you can use it to check if the game is solvable from that point.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure there is supposed to be one of the MS hands which is unsolvable, but I can't remember which. I'll have a look later
