Hi all,up until now i've always ran my griff on pretty much std geo settings(-1o camber, with a little toe in at the front).I was wondering if anything diffrent is adviseable/better for track use?Im having my tyres and geo done tomorrow morning, before going on Monspa next week,so any geo advice would be welcomeMany thanks,Mike

Check your tyre temperature distribution, but you will probably want more -ve camber than that for track use. But you'll get some nasty wear patterns on the road if you run them like that long distance. In theory you also want slightly more toe-in when you wind on -ve camber, but for small changes it doesn't matter much. Then you need to play with tyre pressures (again based on temperature distribution) and damper settings (rather subjective, but basically more on smooth tracks and when there is more grip, and less on rougher or more slippery tracks).

You can also use geometry/pressure changes front/rear to fine-tune the handling balance of the car but you need to get in the right ballpark using spring and ARB changes first.

It'll depend on what tyres and wheels you have but you might try increasing the camber. I've been on 1.75deg front and 1.5deg rear for 18mths or so (standard wheels with SO3s last year and Toyo R888s this year). No major probs with tyre wear. I'm very envious of you all going to Spa, should be a fantastic trip! Maybe next year...

Bring a dremell if you wan't more than 2 degree's front, there's room to slot the wishbones up to 3/4.00 degree's, not that you'll need over 3.
