I've just spotted on my new helmet, that under the visor it says "NAKED"

It's a Bieffe Viper if that helps. So does anybody know why it says "NAKED" there??? I'm Baffled.

TIA

It’s because the new design is a state of the art new moulding technique that utilises a moulding process using flecks of carbon fibre that are...

Obvious, with the visor up your face is naked. Therefore, when someone sees you pootling around with the visor up, they will ask 'what's that naked stuff all about' you'll remember it's your face, put the visor down, not be naked anymore and realise it's a better way to see when driving in the rain

I think I know the answer - Naked - thats the generic model name. You can have a 'Naked' (just plain - white or black) or a 'Naked Viper'.

Check it out on www.bbbikeshop.co.uk

What's it like? been thinking about getting one for karting, did look at the Bell M5 - but the bloke at grandprix racewear said that they were the same helmet - just different branding?

Thanks for the erm.....interesting replies

Woody, sounds like your right, but in the GPR catalogue (page 12) the white and black don't have naked on them . Anyway as for what the helmet is like.......VERY comfy, I used to have a Simpson Bandit but it fell off it's hook whilst hanging up and there's a big crack in it, D'OH!! I wasn't up for paying all that out again so bought the Viper, the Bandit was a tad uncomfy on the forehead but this is a real nice snug fit, and is cheap, I got a 10% discount from GPR so got it for about £130.

I also looked at the M5, it is the same helmet, just a different design mouth.

Woody if you are racing with Club100 as you said in another post, if you say that you are racing with Club100 and you should get a discount at grandprix.
Club100 was thinking of changing there approved supplyer so not sure if this stands for 2003

After looking for some anti-fog strips, my brother pointed me to a website and I did a search and the the name is a Bieffe Naked, and woody, yes, I have the Viper type.
