Have been told TVR changed Cerb 4.5 lights to pod type after 99 and you can't get original style lights after this. Is this true. If so how much would it be to change pod lights to original if it can be done at all.
I think it was only the 4.5 lightweight models that had the pod style lights from late 99 onwards. I'm not too sure when they made the change that all 4.5's had the pod style lights; probably when all 4.5's became lightweights which I think was a couple of years later.
Late 1999/ early 2000 was the cross over point for the pod conversions and cars fitted with them also have the "lightweight" moniker. I think it was 2003 when the pod was moulded in flush with the bodywork.
I think you can just swap from new non-blended pods back to old style lights. (The other way might require more hardcore lx work for higher amps etc?).
