We need a new phone system at work, the old lease expired last year and FSA/business needs have moved on.

Would prefer to business with a PHer

Definate req:

10 handsets
2 lines at the moment, but 4 needed soon
2 fax lines already (already have lines and faxes but possibly would like fax machines to have group send option)
5 headsets (not got at mo)
caller display (not got at mo)
all incoming to be played FSA script (with back door for staff)
on hold script
option to have a receptionist when we get one

would be nice if:

The phones looked cool
they had the CTU ring tone
the headsets were blue tooth
a grant subsidised it (we are in an srb6 regen area)

all wiring is in place for the full network

preferably leased with nominal nuyout at the end

I don't think you can get Bluetooth for landlines, but the closest I found was the Plantronics C65 which is cordless and looks similar: www.home-phones.co.uk/asp/prodtype

Have you considered a VOIP (Voice over IP solution)? Such as:

www.swyx.com/uk/index.html

This would certainly allow you to use standard bluetooth headsets as well as integrating your telecomms and data. These solutions can be cheaper than buying a traditional phone system.

I see you are based in Yorkshire. We run 2 call centres using Swyx in Leeds and Scarborough. Saved us a fortune compared to conventional telephony. Easy to manage and provides lots of features that are always extras with other systems. Happy to show you around the system. Email me if interested.

It's not a call centre just a normal office, the majority of calls are inbound. Just looking to upgrade the system, and make sure none of the staff forget to do the FSA script thing by having the phone system do it for them.

Sorry, just trying to be helpful. Swyx is a normal office phone system as well as something suitable for Call Centres. It could certainly take care of all your FSA scripting and everything else you mentioned.

If I can't help you (due to location) I can probably point you in the right direction.

If it is for minimal outlay then I would be cautious about going down the VOIP Route - Getting VOIP to work most of the time is not that difficult or expensive getting it to work all of the time is.

If you do, you would need to Ensure you had QOS (Quality of Service) in place across your network.

As a rule of thumb you would usually have Dect Headsets as opposed to Bluetooth ones as they go a lot further.
