I know that we are making preparations to be there. Truck leaves Thursday but we are leaving Friday morning after Matts wedding reception, bad planning or what. Sorry you won't be with us Matt Anyone know who else is going?

Will there be any TVR at Spa, because the entry list doesn't mention one?

Well, it was fun (and no rain ) ; still going through the shots, but please feel free to come up with a caption for this one:

The marshals from post 23 are also grateful that their bbq was not interupted - a car came round slooowly but thankfully came to a halt at the next post.

" Belgium's a lovely place; but now he's on a Brussel Sprout diet this was the only way we could get inside the car for the driver change!"

or something like this in translation...... from Google........ you'll get the gist!

Twenty-five cars only ran, shortly after 18h, for a test of endurance in Britcar, Belcar with an English twist. Leadership of Porsche 935 Replica of Richard Chamberlain and John Allen were going to be only one fire of straw. Very quickly delayed following a puncture, the orange Porsche left BMW de Handkammer-Leslie and Hardman- Leventis to unstitch some with surprising Ford Falcon of Sharpe-Haynes. During more than three hours, the difference between these trois-là did not exceed a turn, the positions changing with the wire of supplies. Come to involve itself for the 12H next week, impressive m3 GTR of the swift ex-pilot of F3000 Peter Hardman was the first to be given up the combat while immobilizing himself on the circuit with 20' of the arrival, the British giving up the 3rd place in Porsche GT3 RS of Cook-Shovel. Two gentlemen already seen with several resumptions in Belcar inherited even in-extremis the 2nd walk the podium after an ultimate passage by the stands of Ford Falcon de Adam Sharpe and George Haynes. In front of, Harry Handkammer and ex-champion BTCC and pilot of Mans David Leslie, of accustomed Francorchamps, imposed on the gleam headlights them BMW m3 E36 with a turn in advance. A car and one crew which one should also re-examine Saturday next at the time of the turn of clock spadois. Lastly, still let us note the excellent 5th absolute place of small Honda Civic of Lemmer-Demetriou. The classification: 1. Handkammer-Leslie (GB/BMW m3 E36) 88 turns; 2. Cook-shovel (GB/Porsche GT3 RS) with 1t; 3. Sharpe-Haynes (GB/Ford Falcon) with 4t; 4. Mercer-Bullock (GB/Marcos Mantis) with 6t; 5. Lemmer-Demetriou (GB Honda Civic) with 6t; 6. Back-Foster (GB/Ferrari 360) with 7t; 7. Cutts (GB/BMW m3) with 7t; 8. Smith-Bennet (GB/MG) with 7t

Is that the Bus Stop? Cracking stuff

Here's the 2nd place finishing Minardi just a few secs later: full speed before shifting back all the gears to try La Source.

I'm still working on some pics - so much other stuff to do - but I've some Astra, FPA & F3000 ready here.
