I think the idea is that they don't want bids on the light - they're just abusing ebay to freely advertise the complete car for parts.

Then why not list as .99p and put "do not bid" like other sales..The sale states its for the light?

And I thought that us Paddys were slow -- because 99p would be too cheap for the light unit - the idea is to deliberately quote a high price to deter bidders.

I got a new pair of rear lights from a Vauxhall dealer for a tenner each - new old stock they were glad to get rid of. If you have any long-standing Vauxhall dealers in your area they're worth a try.

Well presumably it's a cat-B write-off and therefore illegal to sell a a whole. However from the photos it has a reasonably in-tact front and rear so I wonder what kind of damage it's incurred to get a cat b?
