the door mirror (glass)fell out today and on inspection found out that it was only stuck on with 2 strips of double sided tape.
Can anyone confirm if this is how they all are or is it the wrong glass in the first place
There should be a locking ring, but lots of cars use tape too - normally the reg-plate stuff.
It should be stuck to a plastic frame using double sided adhesive tape, the frame is secured to the motor assembly by a locking ring.
