I will be there from Wed until Monday and have a few euros left over from my holidays in Ibiza.

I know you can take cards but like a bit of cash in my hand as well. and not for any fines I hope

Being this will be my first time to Le mans I was wondering how much you spend on BBQ, beer, food etc for the long weekend

cheers

I took about 200 Euros last year and that was fine, but this year as I am camping further away i intend to have more beers at the track side rather than back at camp so will take about £250's worth.

SHould provide for plenty of entertainment.

I always thought it depended on "How much you drink" & "How fast you drive" : (Not together may I add)

yeah, take enough for a speeding ticket which could be a few hundred euros! Either that or a gun pointing at you until the cash point...

or of course dont speed....better take cash....! hehe

Also depends on where you are eating / drinking.

I seem to remember friday night in town was at least 100euro last year.

I was thinking BBQ most nights, no fancy wine or food. burgers, beer and fun

things to budget:

petrol(you can roughly calculate this)
food and beer - up to you

things to consider:

a speeding ticket
emergecies ie you brake / lose something
