Myself and Beastie went our for a serious blast on Sunday ?

The poor old 400SE had been of the road for 6 month's with chassis problems but now has a fresh MOT and needed a good clear out (thrashing).

My car has also just got a new MOT and an uprated set of injectors and was feeling very fit..

So it would have been rude not to ..

We tried the A25 - boring : full of 40mph Sunday drivers..

Found a nice dual carriage way down to bell and colville (Lotus dealers) .. two wedges nicely lined up at the lights .. very close .. great fun.

Next - some serious back roads with some great corners : no numpties interupted the fun.

Next up - the local drag race strip .. two wedges again line up ..
again very close..

Just great fun.

it was really great to go for a blast, god it felt sooooooo good to drive it properly!!

Well even if I could have gone out in the Tasmin, I wouldn't of been able to anyway, as the weather was horrible here

Wedges at Ettington - can't see any other TVR's there .. was there a meeting there or were only the wedges man enought to make it

Been out for a quick blat, then noticed the storm clouds...Nothing for it, I wasn't stopping to put the hood on...hoofed it all the way home... just got on the drive as the heavens opened....by the time I got back out of the garage it was hailing...........May don't ya love it !

Sod the back......went for a blat on Sunday, as it was dry.
WOW..needed that. You forget how invigorating & loud a wedge is.
I drove over to Letchworth with the intention of getting out and looking around Colin Collins bike shop. Couldn't do it..having to much fun. They were doing learner courses right next door to the bike shop....soooo I gave it all. Certainly stopped what they were doing, I had a dozen faces stop and stare like Meerkats. Loved it.

Then got in a little tustle with Escort Cosworth.. Initially all i heard was Tssschhh Tssschhh etc etc.......then i touched my throttle BBBbbbWWwwwahhhh Didn't see or hear anymore from him.

Aaahhh....great drive.
