So what are the top tips you lot have for a virgin wedger ??Welcome to the forum, and hopefully to Wedge ownership Ian. 
You've made a good start by finding this site, and the great bunch of helpful people who
hang out here.
Another site you should have a look at is www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk/, run by mikeB off here. Lots of useful info.
There are a few real bargains on offer in the PH classifieds at the moment, and maybe one or two on ebay. I think you will find that the majority of these cars have been pampered by enthusiastic owners, so in excellent condition. Naturally you'll have to confirm that for yourself.
I can't think of any other car at the price that offers such value for money, rip roaring fun, and exclusivity .
When looking, the chassis needs careful attention, also electrics (does everything work, especially windows and lights).
Interior condition needs careful consideration, as not cheap to fix, as does hood.
You might be lucky enough to find a functioning handbrake.
I'll leave a bit of space for others to put in their twopenneth...

Thnx, I most learn to express myself better as meant I have just brought a wedge that I hope to collect soon I am sure it's a good un as it is comming from dickymint via silverback mike with the help of numbnuts . What I am after is advice to help me have a long and happy life with my new baby as the nearest ive ever had to a wedge was a number of sd1 v8s's
