wiper arms again

I was looking at some Transit van wiper arms and these don't look like they will fit, anybody got any deffo info on the wiper arms on the 400SE cars, along with the wiper blade itself???

Mike I have looked around the breakers yard and not found one yet. I read on here, I think that a rover 200 rear will do it but not sure.

They were probably Mk.1 or 2 Transit, you're not likely to find those in breakers now: more likely on Heartbeat

Try a search within this forum under 'wiper blade' (past six months) - you should find what you are looking for.

Wiper blade from rear wash/wipe on a Fiesta is ideal.

The XJ40 wiper arm and blade are the right length, AND it is a single blade type, but the splined hole is the wrong size Also, my TVR wiper (from TVRCARPARTS) exerts 1.5Kg.F at the blade pivot which doesn't work too well. The Jaguar arm exerts 2.0Kg.F and is spot on for the size of blade.

Not much help I know, but if someone can find a wheelbox with a bigger splined bit, I could use the XJ40 arm and blade in my cupboard.

Mike, had the same problem myself and gave up trying to find out what it was off and went to HHC who supplied the correct arm. I just bought a standard blade (can't remember the length but can dig the info out if you want).
