I have heard many people talk about going in stupid fancy dress ( vicer, nun etc..) it is compulsory or just a few people having a laugh. I ask as I have a Superman costume ready to takeyikes:

I know Moose was thinking of taking his rocky horror show outfit

Yep!.........The wife isn`t very impressed but I,ve sorted out a nice hippy style outfit for the trip down, but more importantly.....I want to follow around the grumpy french cops at the Arnarge corner meet with the view of winding them up a bit!
But I think a few other have sorted out some kind of outfit to wear!

One that springs to mind from last year was a couple of immaculately dressed Arabs in a Porsche Boxster (who on reflection could actually have been a couple of immaculately dressed Arabs) but it made an impression nonetheless.

I went as a vicar last year and my passenger a nun. It was most amusing to be waved to the front of queues in the petrol stations and we had chairs brought out for us at cafes and all sorts. Not sure what the outfit is likely to be for this year. Next year is planned to be not only fancy dress, but fancy dress cars too...

Superman and Batman will be going down in superman's 360 (too lazy to fly I guess). It's black, bloody loud and stickered up, give us a wave if you spot us!!

Ah yes i heard this before, thats why I thought of getting myself a outfit. Only problem is my superman outfit has a 3 foot long cock attached to it. I wonder what the french police will think of that if they decide to pull me over (and not off)

Been several years and never seen this, certainly it's not a "must do" thing, more likely a few mates get dressed up but another other 249,900 don't. Rich...

I went last year dressed as a scruffy, unfashionable yorkshire bloke ... i enjoyed it so much, i have worn the same outfits ever since ... i think i may do the same this year.
