I need an insurance valuation for my S3. I live in Maldion in Essex.. anyone know of anyone local who could do it? Nearest main dealer is Castle which is about 50 mins away... so hoping something a bit closer..

thanks

I dont know if you already have your insurance sorted but Heritage accept digital photo's via email for agreed value purposes. Might be easier than finding a valuer

Think you'll find that self valuation does not bond the insurer to the value.
Surely the AA must do this sort thing.

As I understand it you tell them what you want it valued at and send the photos (they're quite specific about what they want photographed). At that point they then either agree the value or don't. I assume that if they agree a value then they must be bound to it.

Worth giving Aon a ring about their classic cover mine was £131.40 fully comp and unlimited mileage in the Taimar.

It is but generally there's an ROR in there. Take one of the common insurers of classic policies that PH'ers use, they state "we reserve the right to decline any value and ask for a second opinion". It is all based afterall on "utmost good faith" and material disclosure.
