Anybody know if there is a max cf card size for the D70?
Thinking of one of these 4GB cards...

If link doesn't seem to work, try searching for "Compact Flash"
Although they don't test the Kingstons, there are certainly other 4Gb cards...

D70 uses FAT32 which means it can use cards over 2GB. The only limit is how large the cards are which I believe is 8GB at the moment, but it will be able to support larger cards at they come out.
I would check with the manufacturer - don't know myself, sorry.

I don't think it has anything to do with Windows in this case. The FAT32 file system has a limit of 2TB. I believe the compactflash format has a limit of 137GB, although at the moment the largest compactflash card is 16GB.

I use a 4GB Crucial CF card - works a treat.
Though if I had my time again I would pay extra for a card that writes faster.
CF drivers are built into the hosting device - which is the limit to access speed & not the card itself. SD & other cards have drivers built into the card which is where they have faster/different times.
