Decided 'GI' was a bit boring and sad (being my initials) and decided to see if this name was taken... oddly it wasn't...

So I am now to be addressed as (Sir) V8S (Esq. MCS BA AR SE) (Mrs)

Thinking about it, I'm quiet surprised that 'handle' hasn't been taken up before now.

Always thought that GI conjured up an image of a hardcore American serviceman standing on the driving seat of the S with a menacing look, a cigar between the teeth, two bandoleros over the shoulders and a rather large automatic weapon. A positive image to be sure and a very good role model for any younger PH members who may happen along.

However, no-one could argue that the new name is not appropriate also!

BTW - have you got it back yet?

And if my g/f reads this, it was a flood and NOT a puddle

Richard @ Dulford has gone to Spa or the 'Ring or somewhere this week so next week MAY be when I get it back. I need my V8 back dammit! I haven't heard it for 2 months now

Sorry Pete but I had to take it off your hands... are you now looking to get back into TVR ownership again then?

You did the right thing Graham.

Would love to get another Tiv, but not sure now is the right time - impending wedding, moving house next year, million and one other things to spend my money on! If it was the right time then I'd probably be on the phone to HarryW.

Look forward to reading your posts after you finally get the old gal back from Dulford.

Edited because I'm losing the ability to type!

Graham - I was down at Dulfords on Weds and saw the car - it's in the workshop, but all was very quiet due to trip to Spa. Been there a lot recently for suspension change and clutch hassles. May be back there tomorrow morning for bush replacement - oh well - it's an excuse for a good blast down!

Hope you get it back soon!

If I could afford another, I'd be beating down his door too... very very odd that it hasn't sold yet.

Wish I could get off my arse and make it down there to take a few pics for the folio.

Sadly I'm too lazy.
