Good work as always Mt T!

Excellent day - thanks to the Racing Green crowd for the tour, coffee, bacon butties, soup, french bread and very large attractive modern shed full of lovely motors!!

It is a very impressive set up indeed! Over £1m worth of stock - and that's just the classic Jaguars!

Well done Ed!

Nice to meet you guys - especially lots of lovely Griffs! Unfortunately the visit only confirmed that a Tuscan would be the successor to Griff ownership. Apart perhaps from the colour (jury still out, but it looked brown to me!), that T440 was stunning in the flesh!

Wasn't it an impressive set up - think the cost of the magic jig would be worthwhile spent on the Griff....

Can't top the pics, Ed, but one for the Jaguar enthusiasts.....

Edited to curse at these bloomin' picture link thingamajigs.....

Hi All,
Yep! I agree, I think a good day was had by all. Enjoyed it immensely.
It was also nice to meet up with a few fellow PH'ers,

rolexblue Good to see you again Paul, hope to see you next week @ VW.

Mr & Mrs beano500:- Love the Griff! Concur with you about the photos, Nice Pics Ed.

mike e & Ryan, thanks for the navigation guys, don't think I'd have got there without you leading the way.

I think that there must have been a lot more PH'ers around today, but not easy to locate in a crowd. How about some form of PH ID badge with our usernames on them? It's always nice to put a face to a name.

Looking forward to meeting more of you in person.

Big Al.

PS Special thanks to Racing Green for the hospitality.

Well I had my PH fleece on! Agree though, its not easy to identify your 'virtual' mates in a crowd!

I see the Racing Green T340 (or whatever the snappy name is) has the numberplate 'TVR1'. Is that for real? It was for sale not long ago for 40K and I noticed a few weeks ago that a number plate dealer was advertising it. Wonder if they have bought it and for hom much.

The (brownish) T400 was registered TVR1, Ben S left to drive back home, so I hope it was real So the factory have it, not Racing Green. The (green/purple) T350C was registered RY52AET - snappy eh!, see EdT's pic's. Nice Red Griff pictured there Ed

A great event - totally gorgeous cars and a very impressive set-up. Pity it wasn't easier to spot the fellow PH's though!

I don't think the reg was real, but I could be wrong. The T400 didn't have a tax disc!

Ben S was flying the flag for the factory and supporting their new dealer. I doubt the Speed 12 is Racing Green's own stock either.

Ben put trade plates on the T440 before driving home, covering the 'TVR 1' numberplate.

To quote Racing Greens Stock list....

2000(W). . Rosso pearlescent with black interior. The only Speed 12 road car in existence. At 880 bhp, dare you maximise its full potential? Truly amazing.

All yours for £150,000! I was wondering if that price included an engine and gearbox - car didn't have either and looked a bit of a mess IMO.

I notice that the 19" wheels on the T440R at the motorshow were missing!

Unfortunately I missed the Open Day but I hope to have a look another day

Nice pictures Ed!
The T350C, does it have a cover under the hatchback now to hide things or is whatever you leave in the back on display? And what's to stop things coming forward when you brake?
Cheers.... Andrew

Now, you're just being picky about it!!!

Isn't this the car of which PW said, in last week's Sunday Times, (paraphrasing)he suddenly realised it was not such a good idea to put so much power down in a sub-tonne vehicle? Isn't it the one with the engine that broke the supposed 1000 bhp limit machinery?

(Perhaps the engine had to go back to the factory for ..........no, couldn't be could it?!!!!)

Didn't see anything, you'd have to nail a nodding dog down!!!! At least leaving your box of tissues on the back would mean delivery at any awkward moment!!! TVR thinking at it's finest
