Have not got heated seats and I can't think of why you could possibly need them. Even in winter the engine puts out so much heat in mine that I often have to open a window even if the heater is turned off.

Anyway I am told heated seats are the quickest way to get piles. The chicks won't be so impressed with that

I wouldn't be surprised. My last Mondeo had heated seats and whilst the dealer could supply a new element he said it would cost more than the car was worth! Have you tried Douglas Valley Breakers or Bell Hill Garage for a second-hand one?

My missus loves the heated seats as mmuch as anything about the TVR. She was quite insistant about that being specified as an option when we bought the car. Driving along on a crisp winters day with toasted bum and the heater on full is very nice. Shame the tw oseats aren't independant though; in our A8 she always has hers on 6 and I generally don't bother.

I am ashamed of you sir! How would lowering make much difference? Oh..... I see..... you're one of those that leaves the roof on in the winter.....

Heated seats are a godsend for those chilly winters day excursions - wooly hat, scarf, gloves, and glorious charred buttocks!

I got mine from a TVR dealer for about £25 for each section. It then cost £45 for a trimmer to fit it. This was a couple of years ago mind.
