Hi guys

I've looked at a few threads and I'm sure you are pretty fed up of chatting about exhaust systems...BUT...I have a few questions:

1. What should I buy? I want a louder tone (something like the race loudness Eisenmann on my old BMW MRoadster ) but I don't want to be messing around with ECU's or re-mapping. I want something I can slip on and not have to change anything else. Been looking at the JP (Quoted 340 plus vat).

2. How easy are these things to fit...should I be able to manage it myslef? Also how does the rear trim panel come off?

3. Do we get any group discount at all from any suppliers?

Cheers
Mark

TVR Power Super Sports individual silencers £375 plus VAT.
They are a straight replacement you use the same U-bolts & rubber hangers NO remapping NO messing about.
There are four or five Hex or Allen key bolts to undo that hold on the rear diffuser, it should only take an hour to do tops.
AS FOR DISCOUNT

Yes I have them I fitted to my car as do others on this forum. I fitted them myself very easy to do, just be carefull when removing original silencer as its a bit of a heavy beast.
The TVR Power silencers are two individual units and are much more easier & lighter to install.
They are LOUD with a lot more POPS & BANGS around 3000 rpm on engine overrun.
They are the dogs dangelies & should be fitted as standard.
A TVR is supposed to be LOUD, the standard T350 is to quiet, just go for it your love them
Even if your neighbours dont.

We had TVR Power super sports exhausts fitted to the Tamora a couple of months ago. Returned a week ago from 3 weeks in France, and we had many compliments on the sound from the French - previously it was looks only!

They are excellent, couldn't praise them enough. You know it makes sense!

Definately the TVR Power Supersports silencers!

I heard Racing Green's demonstrator with them and had to have them. Rebelstar heard mine as I drove past him and he immediately had to get them for his T350 too.

I used to have a SEAC and the one aspect of the T350 that wasn't as good was the exhaust note - it is now!!!

Has anyone tried the Peninsula TVR sports exhausts? I fitted their version to my old Cerbera and it sounded awesome really deep and throaty compared to other sports pipes which were quite raspy.

Getting My T350 in under 2 weeks now ..... can't wait.

Had one on for 18 months (6 weeks into ownership from new) and quite honestly I'd have paid a lot more just for the experience.

Note: any exhaust suppliers should dismiss this post as the ravings of a complete loony

I spoke to Andy at TVR Power this morning and agreed a 5% discount for myself alone, they are coming in tomorrow and he told me to call back in the morning. I'm sure that we can agree a greater discount for 2. I shall email him NOW!

i have just fitted one on mine (was going to get the tvr power ss but got this second hand for £250),
took me an hour to fit, hardest part was getting rear diffuser off.
But i must say when i started it up i swear i got a bulge in my trousers my god i expected it to be louder but even on tick over it sounded awesome sadly she was cold so could only give her a little blip on the throttle but sounds ten times as growly. can't wait to take her to work tomorrow and i intend to take the 20 mile route rather than the 3 mile route

Delivery is 17.50, the full price of the exhaust is 375+vat+delivery. For 2 I have been offered 7.5% discount which isn't a huge amount but it's something!

If you are definite then I can ask about 3, Andy did mention that they only give 10% to the trade so I think that's the most we can hope for.

I'm hoping to get mine ordered today so if you can both let me know asap. My email is markpierce1@btinternet.com

Cheers
Mark
