Hi all. Slight problemo.

Whenever I take the roof off and then put it back on again, despite getting it aligned correctly each time, the passenger window always seems to make contact with the roof seal differently each time! Unfortunately one thing consistant with this is that when i close the passenger door it doesn't shut properly because the window seems to high for the roof seal.

I can't quite get my head around it. It has to be spot on in terms of height otherwise too high (mine) and the door wont shut, and too low and the seal wont work properly. The glass almost needs to brush against the rubber seal when closing and then it ends up behind and underneath it to work properly.

I am resorting to lowering the passenger window slightly when putting the roof on and then raising the window. Not exactly impressive to a passenger. Another method to get the passenger door shut is to close it with one hand pushing the door and the other hand pushing slightly on the center of the glass window. Not great either.

Even the drivers one seems to be a bit of a squeeze - when i do up the electric window it squeeks against the rubber as it is too tight against it.

What can i do?

You can adjust the height of the window. I don't know how exactly but I'm sure someone on here does

If not the Bible should help or a search thru old threads

As an extra precaution I bought a level cover. Brilliant piece of kit, easy to use and no leaks!

Open the window, prise the window seal in the door open a bit, and squint down the gap. About a third of the way back from the front (if you see what i mean) you should see a screw head. This adjusts the height of the window.
