Gear stick gaiter

Having had fumes in the car for some time and needing to replace the hand brake cable I find the cause of the problem is the rubber gaiter for the gear lever. Does anyone know where they came from or what will fit mine is totally unrepairable (more rubber in a leather shoe i.e small ring at top and bottom).

If you mean the rubber bit under the leather gaitor then a Chimera one will also fit. Probably a Griff as well.

It stopped the fumes for me, now just to get rid of the petrol fumes from the filler

Ford Sierra

Yeah I used a ford sierra one (thanks to tallblurke). However it needed a small amount of fettling to make it fit, in particular I had to make an aly plate to fit it to and clamp onto the hole in the fiberglass.
