About to move house into a non cabled area so need to rely on good old phone lines..

Anyone suggest an ISP thats cheap and reliable? Used plus net a couple of years ago and they seemed pretty good.. Can't remember the name of the website I originally used for adsl reviews..

Simon, I'd recommend PlusNet, £15 a month, 30Gb cap (more than enough) and superduper support people when you need it. Plus I recommend you, I can get 50p off my bill

Additionally they do monthly contracts so you don't have to be tied into a year long contract.

If you need help and all that yada yada just let me know old bean...

Or you could get ME 50p off, I promise to offer 24hr support in addition to that of Plusnet.

They are quite good, just look into the restrictions after you download so much... If you don't download much then you will be fine.

Dave.

I'd used plusnet myself a while ago and found them great.. In fact, most of my family now use them..

Carphone whorehouse can't do their deal until sometime in August..

We use Tiscali for home workers at, er, work. Home? Whatever. I've had mine for ages and I've heard of no issues with other users.

www.adslguide.org for comparisons and user reviews

get one with 1 month payment, am on adslmax and up and down like a yo-yo, speeds that is.

seem to be better tonight, but variable, plusnet often referred to as pusnet for some reason, maybe you can guess ?

eclipse and ace seem well worth checking out, the rest are not worth considering

got for ethernet cable modem/router with box by bt socket and cable to the pc, dont use a long phone extension cable
