996/Boxster key fob range.

Fed up of the paltry range of your 996 or Boxster keyfob? If yours only works at a range of a couple of metres you can extend the range to about ten metres for five minutes work and NO COST!

In brief you expose the antenna in the left hand door pillar (it's only a white wire) cut it down a fraction and reinstall it outside it's sheath. Works a bloomin treat
And it's not a bodge, it's the subject of an official Porsche TSB.
