M60 - /A6144 - Be Aware und Careful

I typed the stuff below on the "remote roads" thread .. but I think it warrant own thread to tell people who use these roads to be aware of scam danger. I digressed a lot .. ist normal 
My sister-in-law says roadworks on M60 ist really a credit to planners. She ist less held up going to work than before work started in reality. However, she tell us that scam before J8 disappeared prior to J8 closure for resurface workings.
It then appear behind barriers und behind some sign .. she say there ist attemtp to disguise und they also remove the white line markings. She want to know why.
She also say that the slip road per Parrot of Doom's post re A6144 ist 50 mph.
There ist no red rectangle saying speed limit change. There are 50 mph repeaters in upright rectangle und with yellow backing. Where road ist at traffic lights at Carrington she say that ist very correct with large signs parallel to each other at the traffic lights showing the 50 mph limit.
However, at the other end where this meet motorway .. only one sign und she say this ist only visible to those approaching from A56 sliproad. Ist not visible to those who leave at J8 und cross M60 to go on A6144 - nor are there two parallel lollies at mouth. There should be roadworks or no roadworks as this ist another road.
She also say she noted police van parked illegally in lay-by on this road since 50 mph reduction und her RA alerted an alarm. She ist OK at 47 mph per RA und dash she note said "dead 50 mph" at time her RA sounded a warning.
Be carful all guys who drive this road. Sorry .. ist drifting off topic und perhaps should be a separate as a warning....

Being parked illegally and zapping every car that goes past without forming an opinion of excess speed without zapping!!!??? Not so very out of character for the scameraships, this makes the system a farce.
The irony is that the prior opinion of speed before the zap is actually legally the primary piece of evidence, and the operator will stand up in court to say that not only did they do it, but they can estimate your speed for evidential purposes.
Here is proof they either they zap everyone without even making an attempt at a prior opinion, or their prior opinion is nowhere near good enough to prosecute people with.
Coming off the M60, heading east at J8 (so you have to cross over to get to the A6144), there is a prominent 50 sign at the end of the slip road as it joins the roundabout. All the signs now have the (M) removed. At the Carrington end, the new speed limit is not very visible if you're turning right on to it, since you tend to be a bit more concerned with people coming out of the facing road munching on a bacon butty.
One thing I have noticed, though - when it was a motorway, I was always getting stuck behind someone pootling up it at 40. Now that it's a 50 limit, most people seem to do 60. Confirms my suspicion that no-one actually knew what the speed limit was (not being able to connect blue signs, the "(M)" and all that with an actual speed limit), so they defaulted to 40 (or is it 42 as per another thread?).
