oil from drivers side air box

hello!

had a fairly er "quick" drive today, all about etc and putting the car away and the charger on ive noticed that on the right hand airbox, undernearth where theres that like big bit to the front (i know i know) its a bit oily

and theres a little bit underneath

do i need to be worried here? is it just the breather??

Its the breather that leaks from time to time. Nothing major to worry about as some of the cars do it especially if they've been driven hard or been on prolonged journeys.

Check the 2 hoses underneath that join onto it.

Mine does this on every trip not a lot just a little I put down to where my car crys a tear of joy every time I take it out.

Tried to get the hose replaced but they could not get one??

From memory its just a breather and a 20 or 22mm hose. Availble in most car spares places. I think even some halfords have them.

I went with samco pipes to match my intakes cost about £10.
