Has anyone had protective film applied to the front of their chim. Having seen a few now it is quite obvious that the paint is very soft and they are all ridiculously prone to gravel rash. Mine seems to get worse every time I take it out?
So has anyone had any of that clear film stuff applied? If so by who? And how much?
Generally have people found it effective (on a chim or any other kind of car)?

Hi George,

I have had Armoufend fitted to my car after a complete respray. I think it came to about £600 fitted.

Have a look here www.armourfend.com/

Had mine done at Armourfend also, I'm very impressed with it.

Paintshield on the Griff. It's the approved fit on new TVR's.
I heard Armourfend do the final "trim to fit" cut on the car so avoided it for that reason. It's the same fim (3M) anyway.

How much was yours then FFG? More expensive? How visible is this stuff on the car?
