Help with Firefox
Discussion
Hi all,
With all you IT experts on here, I was wondering if someone can help. I've been using firefox for a while, but it crashed last week, and it hasn't loaded any of my preferences since (as in the customised toolbars, and buttons, and layout). It's not a huge problem, but some the buttons I use (such as add tab, duplicate tab) have disappeared. If I change it through the custumise view menu, it reverts back to the previous on restart of firefox.
I've tried reinstalling firefox, uninstalling all extentions and themes, and just updated it as well, but no luck.
Would be great if anyone knows how I can get it back to normal...
cheers,
ben

Try going to C:Documents and Settings<username>Local SettingsApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles
Hopefully deleting it will get firefox to think it's a new install and from their your preferences can be recreated, this shouldn't affect bookmarks but you might want to back them up first.
You might need to do the Tools > Folder Options > View > Show hidden files & Folders thing before it will show itself.
Hope it works/helps.
