Just discovered a small light in the boot. It does not work, assume bulb, but wondered if this is standard.

If not is this a known aftermarket option and what triggers the light on?

Never had a light in mine, always thought it would have been a good idea. Never got round to it, so far....

Not sure, where was it located in the boot?

The light is located on the passanger side just above the rear light cluster. It was well hidden thats why I have not spotted it sooner.

I presume it's not the rear-illuminated number-plate light? Are there any pin switches for the boot? Does it come on when the sidelights are on?

Cant be number plate light, was on the far left side of the boot.

Cant see any switches, I am assuming the bulb is burnt out cause the light does not come on (will replace and try every combo).

I'm excited - as I have a 98 Chim and never knew there was a light!
