can anyone tell me what extras the chimaera comes with . i know elec windows and optional pas , but what else was optional or standard , aircon ? heated seats ? etc etc

"Half leather" was standard, that's just the seat faces, everything else vinyl.
Full leather was cost option.
Wool carpets were extra.

Air con was an option, but I heard it did work that well. ( I stand to be corrected)

yup well soon im defnetly going to get one , just sorting a morgage etc out and the i can have my tvr and she can have a new house , but where just waiting on persimon homes to say what new builds they have got , then we can start getting sorted

Yup. You can opt not to close the roof properly and it will get wet (cost option) or you can opt to close it properly and it stays dry (no cost option).

Reproofing every couple of years helps, but the key is to get the top taut and make sure the velcro is fastened correctly. Like a tent, if its not taut it will leak. If you fasten the velcro AFTER pushing the stays over centre expect an early bath.

Air con was a £2k option . I have it fitted and a) its useless like teh heater b) never have the roof on so a complete waste of time.
