Bargain to Keep your Beers Cold at LM 06

We couldn't decide whether to rent a van this year and bring a fridge & generator etc.... after a lot of research we decided on buying some Cool boxes - but not just the normal supermarket ones.

you've probably seen people at le mans using Igloo cool boxes - they claim to keep ice frozen for 7 days . They're pretty expensive (dependent on size) but as one of the team works in the frozen products business it was considered the best idea.

We bought two apprx 60 ltre boxes.

Walked into Costco tonight (to buy Mobil 1 for forthcoming Porsche service - saving pennies!) found the Igloo range - A LOT cheaper than anywhere else.
The 156 Litre Maxcold was £67 inc vat (holds pprox 250 odd beer cans )- seaching online cheapest was approx £110 inc delivery.
Smaller ones there too - 70 litre version - £38 (think we paid about £70 a couple of months ago ).

We're just going to get there and buy loads of ice and chuck it in the boxes.

Anyway, thought i'd mention it.

I've got one of those maxcold things for LM, but it only said 3 days when we got it. Said 5 as advertised.


Had some frozen food in it, stayed completely frozen for 3 full days!
