It was a really great day (got loads of video too) and due to not being too busy, you
were free to wander around all over the place without having loads of people in the way.
We drove around the outside of most of the circuit taking it all in from various view points.
We even had a wander around in the function/hospitality rooms, although we probably
were not supposed to .

Click for a slightly bigger non lego-vision image.

These pulled into the petrol station on the way home, very nice

I only made it along for the Sunday afternoon but I saw some great racing. Love those Rover SD1/Vitessess...
Looking at some of the photos - we probably crossed paths a few times.

Excuse the ignorance, but what is this?

I quite like it, but have never seen one before (as far as I can tell with the front off)

That is Steve Watton's pre 65 FIA Griffith 200, (mental build cost and Mental car - I want it). Too much power for the bends - but on the straights I just get out of the way if is behind! 400+bhp in <900kg.

Tiz lovely. I'd love one one day. Nearly bought one last year at a bargain price but wasn't in the position to buy it at the time

Some great racing mate, i see what you mean about the little blue TVR.I caught it on video (and you) during a few laps, you can grab the horribly compressed clip below (10 meg).

Is the TR4 road legal?, if so when can i pop round for a ride Sir?. Would love to have a proper look at her.

Digby - Did you get any photos from the Saturday races? In particular the Easytrack BMW races - red flagged twice.

FANTASTIC Digby.

I have to edit some of that into mine and the MGB that ended up just behind me and the TR6 (TR6 had 10 second penalty for rolling 15 odd feet on the red light! - still beat him on the road). It is usually road legal - although I have not renewed MOT as of 2 months back and taken SORN for the rest of the year (saving pennies + a muppet smacked the car up in the second round!). Only One seat and live in Swindon. I'll take you for a spin in the TR6 when finished - have to run it in soon 1 or too test / races at the end of the year (similar all steel race motor spec, etc as the Dark Green one - and that will have a passenger seat a 5 minute bolt in job. Balls my start again! Otherwise I think I could have had the Morgan V8 (which I have beaten at least once before). Or a spin in the TVR!
