Need a Proxes T1S

Discovered some strange damage to one of my rear tyres yesterday. The sidewall has several splits in it, although there's no evidence of impact damage to the tyre or wheel - almost like someones tried to slash it but some of the splits are very shallow. I'm thinking possible manufacturing fault - the tyre's only been on since January, and I doubt it's even done 1K miles. Anyway, until I can talk to Toyo on Monday, I can't do much. The bigger problem is I've got a European track day next Friday, so will need to source a replacement in a hurry. It's a Proxes T1S, 225 50 15 W rated, and I know these were being phased out. Has anyone tried to source one lately with any success?

You'd be able to get a part-worn in that size no probs, but you might have difficulty in matching your other rear tyre, so you could get 2 part worns for the time being? Here in Birmingham, they work out about £15 each.
