How exciting a race was that?! I nearly soiled myself several times. I knew after France that Rossi was going to win that

But anyway, yes it was fantastic, as Mugello always seems to be.

Soooooooooo exciting, reminded me of the thrills of f1 in the days up to Mansell and Senna and Murray Walker.
I do hope it doesn't end in tears like it did with Senna and with Carl Fogarty. I feel privileged to witness Vale at his peak.
Just bloody wonderful.
I'd love to see Schumacher testing a YZR-M1. After all the fuss about Ferrari for Vale, I don't think Schumi'd stand comparison with Rossi.
I think HE'S the peer of Schumacher.
Certainly, it was superb to see Capirossi assert that the race had been "correct." Bet Damon Hill wouldn't say Schumi was ever "correct."
Valentino Rossi is an old fashioned heroic Champion.

schumacher had a go on a motogp ducati last year, seems he went quite well and understood what was happening with the bike,no times though.

I bit through most of my finger nails during the last 10 minutes of the race - fantastic stuff! Great comparison with the follow-my-leader stuff that was the Monaco F1 just a week earlier - was there more than one overtaking move throughout the entire race . . . zzzzzzzzz . . . .

Anyone record this? - had some problems getting Top Up TV working this weekend, so missed it and the re-run.

Thanks,
Steve.
