Speaker acoustic foam stuff?
Discussion
I've been fixing the central locking on my 3R today. All working again, it was just a case of adjusting the screws on the blocks that holds the two rods together (a bit of a stupid design if you ask me).
However in the process I managed to rip (almost) in half one of the acoustic foam padding stuff that sits behind the door speakers.
Anyone know what the stuff is called, and where I might purchase some?

Take it out, and fit some Alpine SPS speakers without it. Without the foam the arm rest is quite an effective resonant chamber.
Either that or use this stuff

if you just need wadding then the inside of an old hollowfibre pillow will do - if they are anything like an Elise (open at the back) then its really pants - get some XTC foam baffles - they really help improve the bass etc...got them in my Elise
