I am trying to sell my car and this bloke is asking for a picture of the MOT certificate and the Reg Document
Do you think this is a bit dodgy? as I dont want to give images of these docs out for security purposes

Extremely dodgy, well done for having second thoughts, if he is interested in the car, tell him to view it, in the flesh.

I asked for and recieved copies of those documents before traveling to view the Chimaera I bought. I wanted to be sure that the vendor possesed the documents and that they appeared in order. Also, my insurance company wanted to know all the details before issuing a cover note. Sounds like a resonable request to me.

It was me, and I am genuine! As Wicker man says, and as I explained on email and on the phone, I just dont want to contemplate travelling to the other end of the country to look at a car before verifying everything. It is the same information I would expect to be able to view if I went to look at a car anyway.

After having a motorbike stolen after someone came to "look at it" I am not so sure but can understand both pov's
I can understand the need for integrity, I suppose all this is a sign of the times isnt it?
