New Griffith Owner Saying Hello !!

Hi everyone

As of yesterday i am the proud owner of a dark blue pre cat 4.0 Griffith

This is my fifth TVR, previous being various wedges, hence my username.

Anyways just thought i'd say hello to everyone

Will hopefully be coming along to the Growl too....

Funnily enough it did rain shortly after that picture was taken...lol

Have no fear though, it was back off again a little later (after emptying the boot of luggage again!)

Hiya

Yes that is the Great Central Railway in the background, i spent the day up there after picking the car up. They have the Green Arrow 4471 there at the moment, even got to go up into the cab

I live down in Bucks though so unfortunatly i'm not local, was just visiting for the day....

Yeh its a V2 although I believe its owned by the National Railway Museum. Its only recently (last three weeks) returned to running after a major failure of its motion, was touch and go for a while if it would ever run again and only the fact a spare connecting rod was found that had been kept as a souvenir. Its also now painted in Apple Green, so looks totally identical to the Flying Scotsman!
