GT3RS crashed at Donington yesterday?
Discussion
Was it anyone on here? there were 2 (red decals) [EDITED] . They both lapped in close succession, then one didnt make it around the old hairpin. It looked a real state. What a shame! Hope the guy was insured. Anyone know anything about it.
Also felt gutted for the poor chap in a loverly old escort that crashed on the warm up lap!!

it always seems a bit odd to take pictures of peoples misfortune!
Or indeed profit from it, LOL.
Only joking, buying the bits for a song helps the crasher out, too. Works out best all round. Friend managed to recoup some of his loss this way after a car meets solid scenery incident at Castle Combe.

I was led to believe that complete 996 shells are no long available. Although obviously could still be constructed ad hoc from the floor pan etc etc panels... Which are available...
I would agree - the bloke taking us round Manthey last thursday said they had bought the last available 996 shell and no more were to be produced
