Possible Newbie - Noble advice

Morning all,
Later on this year i plan to get a new toy. Having had a number of old TVRs I've found myself being drawn to the "dark side" and have contemplated Porsche ownership.It seems a bit of a no brainer to me as, although I can talk the talk, I'm totally useless when it comes to running repairs. However, over the last few weeks, I've seen a number of Nobles out and about and these have got me thinking..
Is this a suitable car for me as
1) I don't know one end of a spanner from the other
2) My wife may end up driving the car a some point - are they "reasonably" comfortable on our roads.
Grateful for any thoughts.

I am mechanically challenged too, but it is amazing what you can pick up on this web site. Also, there are reliable dealers out there who can take good care of the car and won't rip you off. There are lady drivers amongst the Nobility, so no problems there. The Noble is reasonably comfortable but it is a driver's car. If comfort is a main priority you would not want to go ahead, BUT if you want a car that cannot be described as "uncomfortable" and goes like a rocket, and gives passers-by twisted necks, then go for it!

Just to add to number 2) the 3R is very comfortable around town and on long trips. Seats are very supportive and comfortable at the same time, visibility is not bad too. Suspension is amazingly compliant, not rock hard like some sports/hot hatches. In fact, the mrs's MINI Cooper S is much stiffer sprung and crashes far more over pot holes and bad road surfaces.
The only problem we have found is that at 5ft 6in, she can't reach the pedals otherwise she would be driving it. I believe the runners can be repositioned further foward and I'll be investigating this soon.

1. No worries as there are plenty of people who do (Vegantune, Matt F and Roush to name but 3)
2. I just did a weekend trip up to Mallory Park with a mate - a 550 mile round trip. We only needed to stop for, er, pee breaks. No discomfort (other than over-full bladders).
