Headlight motor crank rods

Some dic*splash pushed my headlight pod down, and rounded out the link rod keyway. This evening I was mainly rebuilding the O/S motor (one of the brushes got stuck), which is why I had them up permanently, and NOW I gotta fix the otherside!

Can anyone tell me if the short crank arm that bolts onto the motor come from the TR7 or is it a TVR special ? Incidentally, I'm now going to have to make my 6th headlight bracket - (okay, the first three didn't fit) anyone interested in a stainless set? I have nearly got the pattern right. It's not the same as Wedg1e's drawing, or the firewall one, maybe its a special FHC one?

It's a TVR special.

I've noticed that TR7 cranks are stamped with a number, which equates to the distance between centres (of the motor shaft and the bolt hole at other end). It could be the TVR version is longer or shorter, but I can't recall noticing whether there was a difference last time I replaced a motor. I'm fairly sure I swapped the whole thing intact, which would suggest (contrary to JRs assertion) that they are standard TR7... but as I say, I can't recall. Certainly the link rod with the adjustable ends differs from the TR7 part.
My motor mount bracket drawing was taken from a S1 FHC, where the motor was mounted on the front wall of the engine bay. As far as I can see, the 390SE's is the same, 7 years later.

i've got a pair of tr7 headlights in my parts bin i'll check them out later tonight, as for the brackets in s/s yes please 2 pairs let me know how much and how to pay.
