This coming Sunday (11th June) is the CCCUK South Coast Region monthly meeting, but with a change of venue. For those who fancy a drive through Dorset, we have have been invited to The Sunray Pub, Osmington (full address - Chapel Lane, Osmington, Weymouth DT3 6EU). The pub welcomes Classic and Sportscar Clubs, and is situated on the main road in the village. We will meet at The Fish Inn, Ringwood at about 11.00am with a view to leaving at 11.15.

After lunch, we could move onto Weymouth and/or Portland Bill for a coffee.

Hopefully the weather will be kind. If anyone want to join us on the way, please contact me and I can advise you of the route.

Have thought about it and will join you at The Fish. Might come by bike though if the weather is good.

Rich.

Sounds like a great day out. Which route are you taking to the Sunray, just in case I get up late (or the traffic on M3 is heavy) and miss the 11:15 start

Hi Tim - here is the route:

A35 from Bournemouth/Poole to Bere Regis.
Left at Bere Regis towards Wool.
Take the A352 from Wool
Turn left onto A353 to Osmington (A353 is the main road into Weymouth from the east).

You should be ok if you follow the signs to Weymouth as Osmington is just to the east of Weymouth.

Rich

We missed you by 10 minutes at the Fish Inn - an accident on the A31 delayed us.

To try and catch up we went via the A31 to the Sunray and met up with the half dozen or so Corvettes down there. Great pub, good food, very friendly crowd. Pity you didn't make it - some other time.

Tim
