What will a 599 be worth in 5 years??

If it takes a depreciation hit along the lines of the 550/575 it could be the ultimate performance bargain of the 21st Century.

Will be exactly the same as the 612 550/575 but by then the latest production cars could be putting out 750 bhp if the current trend continues

The 550 is only now becoming 'affordable' as its been out since 1997/8. I think thats 8 / 9 years.

The 599 will hover near list price for at least 12-18 months and then commence a gradual drop in line with the numbers sold.

i think the Enzo engine links and the positive press will mean it possibly out performs the 550/575 long term.

I also think the performance is close enough to that of an SLR to ensure that the pricing is viewed as competitive and that used cars will be scarce for a reasonable period of time.
