Broadcasting Media
Discussion
Hi
I'm looking for a way to broadcast media over my IP.. for example www.shoutcast.com offers a service where audio broadcasting over the web is possible.. The only downside is the listener needs Winamp.
I'm after some way of broadcasting to an ASX, or M3U, or whatever format is possible that will open in Windows Media Player. Just wondered if anyone here knows of such a utility..
The only other thing I thought was if you can record to some kind of ASX on your hard drive, then serve that using Apache or something like that
- Probably wouldn't work, all strange ideas in my head
Thanks!
Dave.
