Very Good. Although it's not a 917, it's Derek Bell in a 956, from the "In Car 956" DVD which is well worth the investment.

Its unreal when he's flat out down the Mulsanne, you keep expecting him to lift off, but it just keeps going, and going, and going...................

Back in the day when MEN used to drive racing cars, it looks like he leans across to change it from Radio 2 to Radio 4 part of the way round.

I've just watched the actual vhs video with the Nurburgring too.
The commentry says he was doing 246 mph on the mulsanne straight.
He also did the Nurburgring in 6 min 45

I don't suppose someone has that link at all? I love watching the in car laps in those type of race cars. When i first went to Le Mans in 04, the classic race was the Silk Cut Jaguars and Porsches, it was awesome. You could see they were on the limit when tonking round the corners, the noise made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It was like heaven as i had a nice cold beer in my hand.

Scary!!!! It is odd seeing the track as it was then.

So that was you that caught Zaks mate doing do-nuts in his Caterham then??
We all felt really sorry for him as his clutch went about 10 miles from his house, then we saw that 'infamous' video of the showboating his mate did, how we laughed!!!

Good work, be sure to do the same this year as we'll try and catch the mayhem that is Houx Roundabout, providing the Chav brigade don't turn up and ruin it!!

.....ruined it for me a couple of years ago.....i vote we "move" any ill behaved Chavs on this year . Hopefully they will all be in germany watching the footie. At least all the ASBO ladden yobs won't be able to get out of the uk as they have all had to hand their passports in so they can't travel to the World Cup and cause trouble

Thats a good point, i was already narked off about the start time being moved for the footy anyway!! Be interesting to see what hard-ware shows up this year, me thinks the Gendarmerie will be cracking skull this year as it got a bit out of hand last year i heard, i turned up late, pissed, so forgive me.

I'm going for the PH baseball cap this year. We usually head up to Indianapolis for Friday morning, usually a good few sights, my mate takes some awesome pictures of our gang hossing round the corner, its kind of a tradition.
