At the weekend I took my new pride and joy for a relatively long run (250 miles). I realised that my left foot was achy afterwards due to there being no footrest. Other performance cars have a rest for your foot by the clutch. Has anyone else noticed this and has some one come up with a solution?
Many thanks

Change gear once in a while?

Seriously though - I know what you mean, you get to sort of forget where your left foot is until it's starting to ache a little bit - sorry, that's no help whatsoever!

I usually remove my left foot on a long journey then pass it to the wife in the passenger seat for a relaxing foot massage

yeah i agree - blatted up to glasgow and back last week from Nottingham - car never
missed a beat - but the ol foot does get a bit sore kept in neutral position - i changed my seat position to more sitty up - it seems to work as pressure is not
so much on the ankle -

Made up my own using a Sparco footrest from Demon Tweeks and a 15mm x 3mm metal strip bent to shape and bolted to the aluminium plate around the pedal box, worked a treat.
