Saw a very nice shiny silver S going through the centre of shrewsbury today, made me sick with envy as I wound the window down to get an earful (mine is up on the axle stands at the moment see clutch thread).

Are you local or just passing through?

It might have been mine J Reg V8S I was in Shrewsbury last night, went for a quick run out from Telford. Ta 4 your kind words, its a good car, a great noise and well maintained. Sadly its up for sale. All the best with yours and see you around !

whos got an S in shrewsbury then? i live in shrewsbury and my pearl white S2 with personal plate was my regular driver up until last xmas when its sat in the garage ever since. Its taxed and tested but need a few more hours in the day before i get chance to use it much again. i used to see a gunmetal S2 (i think) not far from where i used to live (Coton Hill area), anyone on here?

yeah we will have to catch up one sunny day. Keep threatening to sell mine, as i dont use it enough now, too many other toys to play with. I now live in Ford, not far from Loton Park hillclimb circuit (my other great passion).

I am an S2 owner and thinking of going to the VSCC meet on the 25th June at Loton. I haven't been before but how does it compare to Shelsey or Prescott? (sorry for the thread hijack).

Lotons great for spectating as you can see 90% of the track (just after start obscured by trees), good facilities, toilets, bar etc. Easier access via decent roads than shelsley. I love Loton and shelsley so im biased. Never competed at prescott so dont really know on that one. Lotons a technical hill, and longer run than shelsley (60s in my car at loton). Nice place to take the family too on a sunny day.
