Had a lovely ride home from work last night, put the bike in the garage.....then lent it over to rest and lock it, having completely forgotten to put the side stand out.
Over she goes with an accompanying obcenity and partially trapping me against the wall.
Managed to extract myself and haul the bike back up, but my back is really not feeling to clever at all.
Important thing bike is fine, bar 1 or 2 little spot marks on the fairing as I did manage to let it down very gently.
Bar-steward !

Bad luck my man.
I know how you feel though, well partly....
Went to fill up with go go juice on Saturday, (meeting a few guys for a ride. Finished filling lent on the tank to get off the bike and forgot the key was still in the petrol cap, bent it right over, nearly snapped it, managed to get it out luckily. Could not bend it back so had to phone the wife to bring me the other key, needless to say i was well p!ssed off.
Guess it is just one of those things.

Same happened to me - was going to Crowtree to be measured up (first big ish trip). Got the bike out of the garage and thought the side stand was totally out - it wasn't so the bike went over. I managed to keep hold of it but still caused £300 worth of damage - bent gear change, broken mirror and some other stuff... Horrible site seeing a bike on the floor

I'm with you! My bike was mint (well, still is actually!) untill I gave it in for a service. I couldn't pick it up for a few days so was keen to get going when I got it. Got on bike, engaged first, disengaged brain and then decided not to proceed straight away. So naturally I let go off the cluth!! - bike lurches forward and breaks indicator but nothing else!
Lesson learnt!
