How well do yours fit?

Removed the headlamp pods for a clean up, got the drivers side back in and perfect fit with no variation in the body gap at all.
Passennger side though no matter what I do end up with quite a gap on the outboard lower wing edge (without the finishing bead in place)as though the whole unit wants to rotate and move over a bit, all appears to be trimmed up OK.
Am I worrying too much before I pull it all out again, is there a known body variation side to side?
BTW Precat nose with no repairs.

IIRC you may need to cut the flange back a bit near the front end - would that help?

me also a pre-cat and my passenger side was also a poor fit compaired to the driver side so i took as much of the front of the pod which sits on top of the indicator as i deared, the next step for me was as you look down on the pod hole from the front in your bottom left hand corner of the hole there is a gap where you can wedge the front of the pod up with some rolled up carboared and then push the back end up and bolt into place then sealed with the silkaflex and left for a good day and you should just be able to get the carboared out if you hands are small enough via the access hole in the wheel arch

Thanks for the replies, ground the pod flange down around the indicator area and now got a good fit. It was just being brave enough to do it.

Can certainly vouch for the use of Sikaflex, removing the passenger pod again after 48hrs of setting was a bit of a job.
