BTR or GKN???

I've a '95 4.0 Chimaera with a T5 gearbox. Without having time at the moment to crawl underneath, can I assume it's a BTR diff under there too?
If so were all the BTR diffs used the same same ratio?

Did they use the GKNs with the T5 at all?

yep; '94 with T5 and GKN

if you look underneath the car from the rear, the fins on the GKN are pretty visible (or send a small child under there !!)

What thread would that be?...and why confused? Ain't a person allowed to ask a question without trawling through hundreds of pages to , maybe find something similar to his query?

Don't worry, either its refering to the cossie box thread or the office he's in doesnt have air con!

...if it has fins you have a GKN, you should be able to get on your hands and knees and see the fins dangling down.

You might also have a Salisbury diff.My '96 griff had one of these.I dont think they fitted them for long though?
