VXR Traction Control

Probably a stupid question ( I'm sure someone will tell me!!!) but does anyone know if the TC switch can be reversed so that it is automatically set at the off position.....and i can then choose to turn it ON

I read somewhere that you can do that. Maybe some sort of diode inline. I tried searching to find out how to do that, but came up blank.
Mines a hard switch anyway, so mines is always off except in snow/ice
